* The Loose Ends Competition is a two part contest.  The first part is a script writing contest.  The script is to be the beginning of a five minute or less film. . . but with no ending.  The second part of the contest is where one may submit a finished film based on the chosen script with the addition of an ending written by the contestant(s).  All finished films must be five minutes or less -- including titles, credits, and the required MIFF identification.  BFT's 2016 submission VICTIMLESS, won Best Overall Production and tied for Best Ending.   BFT's 2017 submission BAG MAN, won Best Overall Production.
